Reconstitution de la Bataille de Valmy 1792(19-21/08/2022)
Venez assister au grand défilé des soldats de 1792, Français, Prussiens, Autrichiens qui traverseront le village de Valmy à 14h30 pour se rendre sur le site de la bataille.
Au pied du Moulin de Valmy vous assisterez à une canonnade des soldats du Général Dumouriez en direction des Prussiens.
Tirs de mousquets, charges héroïques,... le tout imprégné d'odeurs de poudre noire, voilà au programme de cette journée révolutionnaire du vendredi 19 au dimanche 21 août 2022
Cette animation historique sera l’occasion d’évoquer l’importance de cette bataille qui sauva la révolution et qui changera l’Europe par la suite avec l’instauration de la démocratie.

Zaterdag 20 augustus en zondag 21 augustus 2022, in de schaduw van de molen van Valmy, een uitzonderlijk evenement in het grotere Oosten van Frankrijk en Europa vanwege zijn historische belang na de "slag van Valmy" van 20 september 1792; de geboorte van de Republiek en haar waarden, maar ook van Europa en de democratie.
Zaterdag 20 augustus is gewijd aan de ontdekking van de Franse militaire kamp opgezet aan de voet van de Molen en de verschillende activiteiten onder leiding van een groep van kunstenaren en reenactors voor een levendige voorstelling van het leven in de 18e eeuw, concert en vuurwerk in de avond, zichtbaar vanaf de snelweg A4.
De grote wedersamenstelling van deze slag is voor zondag 21 augustus. Na de militaire parade zullen de soldaten naar het slagveld gaan waar de revolutionaire troepen, geleid door generaal KELLERMAN, de Pruisische soldaten onder het commando van de hertog van BRUNSWIJK zullen confronteren
Het historische centrum van Valmy 1792 en de Molen zullen het hele weekend open zijn voor het publiek.
